Companion Animal Surgery & Medicine

Our hospital in South Grafton is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility for small animal surgical procedures and medical care. We strive to provide gold-standard care with the best and most up-to-date equipment and protocols. Our nursing team have advanced training in anaesthesia and patient monitoring/hospital care. We place a huge emphasis on pain management, and employ individual multi-modal analgesia plans for each patient.

We offer a wide range of services, including:

• Hospital care for illness and injury

• Emergency care

• Elective surgeries including speys and castrates

• Soft tissue surgery such as lump removals, repair of skin injuries

• Abdominal surgery

• Dental scale and polish including radiographs and complex extractions

• Emergency surgery for removal of a foreign body, correction of a twisted gut, or accidents

• Orthopaedic surgeries including cruciate ligament repair, fracture repair and luxating patella surgery.

Post operatively, all our patients are monitored constantly by a nurse until they are fully recovered from their anaesthetic. Once they are awake, they get a nutritious meal plus lots of TLC from our team.
